A Joint Venture You Can Benefit From

Just a few weeks ago I announced a new service here. Wordpress is “all the rage” and it is definitely my favorite way to maintain my websites and blogs. I love the platform and enjoy working with it and tweaking it so much that I am offering to do it for you! Plus, at an inexpensive price at that.

After deciding to offer this service I wished that I could do more. I wished that I had design capabilities, but those abilities I do not possess, therefore I sought them out. I was in “want” not necessarily need of a new blog design on my mom blog so I sought someone out. I found an awesome designer over at The Mom Bloggers Club, we began communicating and she did my new blog theme. You can see it here. She was able to capture all the elements that I requested and I am very happy with the results.

Then it dawned on me, she might be interested in a joint venture, so I inquired. She was excited and immediately we began working on details, which enables me to announce to you today more great services available to you with the help of Sarah from Real Life Design.

Here are the services, but you can find more information here.

You can receive everything from a 5 Minute Makeover for your blog to an Extreme Makeover, these options include a custom header or an full blog theme designed by RLD and installed by Wordpress Install for Hire, yours truly.

Look forward to working with some of you!

Virtual Assistants: 4 Ways to Get More Clients Today!

If you’re a Virtual Assistant, you know that the one thing that is your lifeblood, the one thing that keeps your income steady, is a finding clients. Luckily, there are several ways to keep a steady stream of clients coming in through your door.
Here are just a few:

1. Advertise in Ezines. There are online newsletters everywhere that accept advertising. The key here is to purchase advertising in publications that reach your target market and to create your ad to showcase your expertise. Don’t try to be everything to everyone or you won’t attract clients.

Ad Example of what Not to Do: Hire me to lighten your workload. I can do everything that you don’t want to do. Let’s talk!

Ad Example of what works: Are you ready to get more leads to your business? I will handle your ezine advertising campaign for you. No more searching for targeted ezines, no more writing and tracking your ads. I’ll handle it all it all. My clients experience a boost in subscribers after I complete my ezine advertising campaigns that will pay for my services. Check out my website for testimonials and free tips.

2. Write and Submit Articles. The key here is to stay on topic. Don’t write and submit articles about health or pet care. Present a problem in your article and solve it. Make sure your author bio is very compelling to attract potential clients.

3. Network where *successful* people hang out. A huge mistake that VA’s make is to hand out on forums where there are other people struggling to make money. Instead, join a membership site for your target market and you’ll find yourself in the “inner circle”.

4. Advertise at Shelancers.com. One of the easiest ways to get your name in front of business owners looking for help is to advertise on Shelancers.com. Again, it is crucial that you list your specialty in order to stand out from the other providers. But, if you can find a problem that business owners face, and offer to handle it for them, you’ll attract loyal clients who will continue to work with you.

Article Writing: Can it help my Virtual Assistant Business?

FreeAffiliateArticles.com | Article Writing: Can it help my Virtual Assistant Business?

By: Nicole Dean

Question: I’m a Virtual Assistant. Can I use articles to promote my business?
Signed, Eager VA

Dear Eager VA,
Virtual Assistants are springing up all around the internet. It’s a very viable business option and more work at home moms are jumping on the bandwagon every day. The real go-getters will whip up a “business card” website right away with their contact information, ‘about me’ information, and their rates and services offered.

But, then that website sits and collects dust while they wait for the traffic to roll in. So, what’s a Virtual Assistant to do to generate traffic to their website?

Oftentimes VAs overlook one of the best methods of marketing their websites – article writing. Virtual Assistants can write about all kinds of topics – how to organize emails, customer service, hiring or firing a VA, ways a VA can benefit a business, or accounting among other things. Then, they can share the articles, just like any other website owner to drive traffic to their websites and establish an expert status in their field.

If you’re a VA who’s new to article sharing, it’s actually quite easy. You write a helpful article and include your author bio at the end. (See the end of this article as an example.) Then, you submit your article to Article Directories where hungry website owners, blog owners and ezine publishers eagerly grab your article to publish it on their sites.

Now, there is stiff competition so it’s not quite that easy, but that’s the gist of how article sharing works. And, you know it works because you’re reading my article that I’ve written and shared with article directories. There’s my URL in the author bio and you’ve found my article because someone has published it on their website, blog or in their newsletter. If it works for me, it can work for you, too.

Article sharing is underutilized in the Virtual Assistant field and I hope to see that change in the coming year. Go grab that free traffic and grow your VA business. Not only will your VA business grow, but you can share this method of marketing with your clients and blow them away with your knowledge of internet marketing. Best wishes.

Author Resource -> Nicole Dean doesn’t pay for advertising – ever. She uses Article Marketing to get free advertising on websites and in newsletters worldwide. You can use articles to get free traffic, too. Visit

A Promotional Tip- Article Marketing

So, you’re an internet business owner and you want to get the word out about yourself, your business and your products or services. But, the only issue is you have little money to put out to fund the promotion of your existing business or the business you are starting. What is there to do? Well one great way to promote your online business fast and without expense is through article marketing.

Article Marketing is a “must do” for online business owners. With the many article directories out there it is also easy to do. Plus, if you’re not a writer yourself you can even easily find someone to write for you, such as A Writer for Hire’s team of ghostwriters, or buy articles through PLR and edit them to make them uniquely yours. There are several options for creating articles to help you promote your business.

The best part is not only do the articles show up on the article directory site, but they are then picked up by other business owners, newsletter creators, and possibly even newspapers and other media to use in their publications, giving you added exposure for your business. It truly is a winning opportunity.

It is important when submitting to article directories that you find directories that are in your niche or target market so that the articles will be found by those who are a perfect fit for your business. There are some specifically targeted directories, such as WAHM-Articles.com which targets work at home moms, or Christian Article Bank.com that targets Christians, but then there are some bigger directories which have sub directories in numerous topics, such as Associated Content. Some of these article directories even offer you the ability to make a profit from your articles.

Either way, you will benefit from submitting articles about your area of expertise or business to article directories. Need custom articles written for your business, contact A Writer for Hire today.

Ways to Show Integrity in Business

Ways to Show Integrity in Business

In a world where crime is a constant and fraud is done everyday, we long to find people that we can trust and opportunities to work together where we do not feel threatened or scared of the outcome possibilities. As a business owner, we want to put our best foot forward and ensure that our clients see us as being “different from the others” in one way or another. Having integrity in your business can set you apart from the pack very quickly.

There are many ways to show your customers that you have integrity. Here are just a few of them:

1. Be passionate about your business. It is important that we are in a business or career that we love in the first place, if you are, it makes it easier to show your passion. So, do a heart check before going into any given business opportunity and make sure that you can be truly passionate about it, so that the passion you have will shine through to the customers.

2. Be upfront. Share information with your customers or clients from day one. Do not withhold information from them because you are afraid you’ll loose a sale, or not make as much money in the end. You need to want more than anything, to do what is right, not only for you but for your client as well. Withholding the truth will only serve you poorly in the end.

3. Appreciate your clients. Showing appreciation can go a long way in helping your customer to see that you are genuine, and can be trusted. Give your customers extra to show your appreciation, not to bribe them into doing more for you, or spending more money with you. Just give back to them to show that you are grateful for their business and loyalty.

4. Be personable and available. You might be the boss, the head honcho, or the CEO, but that does not mean that you should hide away in your office never to be seen by anyone but your employees after all the clients and customers are gone. You want to be seen by everyone as someone who truly cares, you want to be available to help meet the needs of your clients. Availability to others also shows your integrity.

5. Take responsibility for your mistakes. Let’s face it we all mess up. We are not perfect and we will make mistakes. When you do take responsibility and try to make things right. Your clients will appreciate you for it and will be more likely to forgive your mistake than if you tried to cover it up and not tend to it.

These are just a few of the ways that you can show integrity in your business on a daily basis, helping others to trust you with their time and their money.
